About this picture

I just finished my new Display! :) there are still some minor changes to do and a better overall cleaning but for now im just happy to see how it looks like in its nearly finished state. Later on there will only be 1/4 scales in there but for the moment i mixed them.
If you have any ideas how i could improve this one just let me hear them. ^^

Lilith3161 maand(en) geleden#78471690As Base served an old glass display manufactured by "Glasbau Hahn" made in 1969.
I had to restore the frame and the wooden plate of the table.
The supporting feets and the base frame were a bit rusty so i had to grind them, after that followed the white Paintjob as you can see here.
The Glass itself was framed in another Metal frame which i also grinded down and painted it new in Black.
The wooden board just needed some grinding with abrasive paper and were coated with glaze, after that i used new fabric "Webpelz" to coat it.
The LED´s are framed in 45° Aluminium profiles with perspex to get a wider dispersion of the light.
To get the Figures inside you have to take the glas display off, for that you need at least 2 persons as the glass alone weights above 60Kg.
But at least you wont have to take care of any dust after you closed it ^^
