Y'know... is that illustration in the gallery even what this figure is based on? The pose is different, the face style seems to be different, and the artist is Cura, of Monobeno and Maitetsu fame, not the one who came up with the original Illya and Kuro artwork.

LeviathanX2 jaar geleden#25576513Indeed. It still has the hardness of plastic, but the smoothness of skin ^^
Your description matches the dolls from Tokyodoll tokyodoll.jp ;)

OH yeah I've seen those. The faces just aren't as nice and detailed as PVC figures though.

LeviathanX2 jaar geleden#25567528Oh yea, the typical "you pedophile"-rage you usually have here... Coming from those no-life lurkers who want to force their own opinion onto you.
I don't know if it's special material or coating, but they processed their bodies in some way so that you'll have a skin-like feeling whilst touching them. Their body really is not feeling like plastic at all (although it is). I assume it's a special coating, since one of them had a little defect on her knee where it was a little damaged/scraped off.

Just got both Illya and Kuro this week for 10.000Y each and I can only confirm it. Beside being super cute, the feeling while touching their bare skin is truly something unique that I've never experience why any other fig to date.

That being said, I'm personnaly perfectly fine with that pose of Miyu. It's not like the illustration, but I feel like it would have seems to similar to the pose of Illya.

Plus, Illya has her bottom undone, Kuro her top so what would be left for Miyu ? Both undone too ? I would have been perfectly fine with this choice but uuuh when you look at the current community then we would have all been yelled at as some pedophile. Once again I would say, mah I got used to it anyway so I don't even give a shit anymore about what the others think.

Back to the topic, I guess they played it safe with her bikini being like this. And for the star, I won't complain too. I like it a lot, it changes from Illya and Kuro's pose which are a lot similar. And her you can even have a better view on the "importants parts" without having the star getting in the way LOL

That being said, I just can't wait to the see painted prototype. Then my cutest lolicious trio will finaly be togehter !

This time I'll make sure to pre-order her on DAY ONE. Bcse, I missed Kuro and Illya for their release (the price given the quality is really good) and I only got my eyes to cry when I knew about her last year and saw those.... insane aftermarket prices.

All in all, I achieved to get them both when I saw them on amiami pre-owned. I just couldn't pass on that price for each in B/B condition.

Now impatiently waiting for Brocolli Kuro to come out hopefully this month. I'm still pissed for not having grabbed Broco Illya back then when I see her current price, insane !

harrykim2 jaar geleden#25571690Huh that's neat. Eventually I think all figures will have that and make the skin pliable, squishable,

and to be able to move joints and pose the figure like a figma but without seeing any joints. Pretty much like the life-size dolls I guess, but on the tiny scale.
