I didn't end up getting the girls earlier just because I would've been more crushed to get them and be disappointed with the quality, but I've been looking at the reviews/videos and...they actually look pretty good? Especially now that you can find the set for $100 or so, these are definitely going to be top priority once the COVID situation starts dying down and postal service gets back to normal. My physical copy of the new Orchestral Addendum album should be here at some point as well, and I'd love to display them together.

After waiting all the month for a shipment confirmation from NY about my order they tell me that they only received half of the stock, and that maybe next week they will be able to get the rest of the stock to complete the orders. Have any of you ever had a similar situation with them?

I only realized just now but it seems that they both come with alt expressions, specifically a casual/smiling face and a serious/determined face. That's nice.

nyugvo61 jaar geleden#61897598no, you're biased against godawful square enix quality. figures with joints can be and ARE excellent, depending on the line and the maker. play arts kai and now bring arts are horrible compared.
as an action figure collector who handled 9S and A2 both, I can tell you bring arts is worse than most action figure lines. on the plus side they're better in person than they appear on the pictures. it's a VERY mixed bag of really bad engineering, great detail and hit or miss sculptwork. let's just say that all miniscule paint detail was on spot on both, but they're not fun to pose, and the joints are the ugliest I have seen since PAK knees. a few of them are quite useless too.
now, the price is the real dealbreaker.
IF a figma is 70 bucks (just for the comparison's sake, let's say they're worth it. they're really not...)
then I'd gladly pay 45-50 for one bring arts figure with accessories.
that makes 100 for both. they're priced at 150.
my final thoughts: I buy characters based on my love for their personalities+cool factor, as a token of my love. it's really rare these days that someone I care about gets an articulated figure. but if you can deal with the idea of not owning them possibly ever, you should pass. seriously.
(personally I was hoping they'd come with a few extra swords, like the large one from the same set, and I can't really fit them into my preorders right now so it's a pass. I think they won't sell out for a time since they're not the main characters but who knows)

I agree that Bring Arts are far from SHF and Figma's in term of quality but I definitely think theyre better than PAKs and Mafex. Mafex you have to pray nothing breaks every time you move a joint or switch a hand out. That being said the only BA figures im getting are the Nier Automata ones. Whatever they put out im buying ^_^

spinners_grove1 jaar geleden#61794316Can someone tell me if I'm being too picky? I absolutely adore Devola/Popola--I cosplay both Gestalt and Automata Devolas--but... Something about these is not sparking joy? Is it because of the hair? Am I biased against figures with joints???
