Klon (5 maand(en) geleden) #31314898What's the worst that could happen? Your money is lost and you don't get
the figure. So what? There's still enough money to get out there and the same goes for figures.
Keep Calm and Carry On

I mean, losing your money plus the product is pretty bad

Neon120291 (2 maand(en) geleden) #35572063A question to those who's collecting figures for a long time and\or ordered from Good Smile Online Shop: is there a way to cancel the order on GS online shop?
I preordered this Jeanne as a backup plan, in case I would be unable to get Revolve's one on release (which I were able to do).
As much as I like the figure (and character) and GS figures in general, having two Jeannes with the same outfit would be too much for me (and they both take a lot of space too). So I would like to pass on this one.
I chose payment trough paypal and have a pending payment, that would be fulfilled once the seller will request it.
So is there a way for me to cancel it in some way without some scary consequence (being unable to buy from this shop in the future is probably the least of my concerns) and without trying to give away my preorder to somebody else (since I don't really know how this whole thing works)?
Thanks in advance to those, who can give some usefull tips.

send an e-mail to them and tell a little story and ask kindly if they can cancel an order. :) I did this already and it was fine for me.

Soarin (2 maand(en) geleden) #34769524I was really surprised at their prices, honestly. Their trans-logistic service is great too, its cheap and lets you pay the customs up front to expedite the process with no "handling fee" when your package lands in your home country.
I am sick of paying Parcel Force or Royal Mail (same group) 11 pounds each time I order a figure. FML

NY is cheaper compared to other shops. BUT! But if you have a damaged figure you are literally F*CKED. They don't help a lick. They don't send you a new figure. They leave you with the damaged goods. This happened to me twice already there. With very expensive figures. In the end I had to cope with it.

Other shops are SO MUCH better when anything is broken.

So yeah, it is a gamble.

Mea_K (3 maand(en) geleden) #33988416NY still has open pre-order slots while also being considerably cheaper than other shops. Feels really weird to get a figure + shipping + taxes for less than what just the figure would cost at some other stores. How? Did they make a pricing error in our favor?

Japanese taxes are rarely included in the price unless it’s an exclusive. Also, NY’s shipping prices are overpriced, that’s why their figures are “cheaper”.
