Idunno I've read about the gears being broken on some and all ;_; I bought mine preowned and when i picked up the parcel i heard rattling; turns out the gears where all loose inside part of the box. I'm not sure if they were supposed to be like that, but they were definitely hitting against each other in transit, but they are still in good condition, so I'd say you'd probably be fine with sal.

No i don't think so. I got mine from amiami registered-sal and it arrived safe. The gears do seem fragile if you grab them with your finger though but when they're in the blister i think it's safe enough.
