Ayayaya! Your local friendly tengu reporting! Here are some pictures of various Gensokyo residents demonstrating their danmaku that I took for the Bunbunmaru newspaper. I hope you enjoy!

First person to guess every spellcard earns my respect. I'm also a little surprised how few people have taken danmaku photography. I always loved Shoot the Bullet and Double Spoiler.

Asako7 jaar geleden#1171083The majority of these are out of focus, and the background is blown out in quite a few. Using a monitor as a backdrop is very difficult. I've tried, to no real success. :( It is a nice concept, though.
Even getting them as focused as they are here was hard. Most of these took over twenty tries to get one that wasn't a total blur. Also took a ton of fiddling with camera options since at first the danmaku came out grey and lifeless and then getting the girls in focus was a nightmare. Computer moniters are tricky backdrops and it doesn't help that I know nothing about photography. Still, I really wanted to do this idea and it's not like your pictures in Shoot the Bullet are any better quality :p
